John.. or JL as he was known by friends passed away recently.. There was a paddle out at Salt Creek for him on Sunday of last week.. I was unable to make it but it looked like a great showing.... I was editing tons of photos lately and getting some surf... i came across this photo JL shot of me while on the North Shore one year... good times.... miss ya bud!!
