Just landed... photos to come soon. had a blast this weekend with the family in laws, dad and uncle!!! 2nd time hunting pheasants and this year the birds were there and i was shooting like i use to...

So blessed.. these are amazing to hunt and amazing land..... no surf in cali so it was great to get out in Gods Country...... Saw a bunch of Bald Eagles, Mule Deer, Big Pronghorn and muskrats.. haha watched a bedding bucks antlers in the deep grass as the dogs got close..it was amazing to watch the 3 animals interact and such a pretty buck...!!!! No male mallards but got my first female mallards...

but the pheasants were what we went for and scored...

you can buy beer and ammunition on the same store aisle..

My brother has just opened up his bike shop recently in Salt Lake City and I am super proud of him.. What a fitting match.. He LOVES all of the technical stuff of bike as well as just working on bikes..
here are a few photos from the party he threw.. It was a great turnout and an even better response to the shop opening up..

It is in a great part of SLC and super stoked for him...
All of the family came out to help prepare the shop and get it fixed up right for the grand opening..

Let's Go Fishing

Had a great week with my nephews and family is where is matters most....
So at the end of the day I was able to go fishing with my brother, dad and the nephews...
Tons of fish were caught.. we had a blast and life is good....

Family First!!!
Its all you got at the end of the day... So i took a week off of work in California to run back to Texas to teach the groms how to surf again and introduce it to the new ones... SO much fun with the whole family out in the water...
it is definately a great feeling that surfing had brought us all down to the beach to enjoy its fruits....
Growing up i never thought i would see this day.... I was very proud and thankful to surfing for help unite us and entertain and thrill so many!!!

The surf was perfect for groms.. I am so glad I went home and enjoyed time with the family and groms...

Thanks to EG and the Sector 9 family for the decks to get the gang up to date with their skating skills and equipment.. So pumped on sharing the boarding life with the kids....

My parents have been in town and i have shown them around.. JP Van Swae was nice enough to show us his test prints for the upcoming show of his Grandfather Whitey Harrison.
good stuff go see the exhibit..
Stopped by and visited with Steven at Jed and Greg Nolls' shop and he showed us some wood blanks.
Casa Romantica was cool as well.

I am sooo pumped my mom and Dad are in town...
unfortunatley its the first time since 1977 that its snowing on the mountains here in MAY!!!
ugh... all my dad wanted to do was sit on the beach and watch me surf... he has never seen me surf and i am really bummed...
there really isnt much to do in SC when its raining like this....
The sector 9 bowl is dry but i doubt my parents want to sit in the car for 2 hours then sit at the bowl haha...
we did enjoy some amazing sushi last nite... my dad had octopus for the first time and loved it!!
YUM!!!!

Swell is coming so i am tryin to clean my plate in preperation.. enjoy your day....
