Greg Cheek passed away Feb. 6th in a jail cell in the Corpus Christi vicinity.....
His story is long and complicated.... he was simple, loving and ripped at surfing and skating....
WE had some great times...
WE had an art show and he could have honed in his work and i had always hoped that art would save him...
Im not talkin symypathy... he was a grown man.. He had some mental trips that he was fighting and that was the downfall that took him away from us... from Texas....
WE shared a phenominal day at Packery Channel in the fog on dredging left barrels as the jetties were only 3/4 of the way done!!!
He was always stoked to party, surf, skate and hang out as well as chat about art!!!!! He was a genuine guy....
amazing times!!!
