getting ready for the upcoming Art show next month!!

RAIN!!!!!!!

Rain in California stops traffic dead in its tracks......
Its crazy.. people are crazy and do stupid stuff...

2 wrecks made out commute to the bowl take twice as long...
this guys driving affected hundreds of peoples lives this day.....

Summer into fall into winter!

I love the changin of the weather.... I am gonna miss our summer that never was though.....
Skate season is in full effect with the first rain and everyone moving into the Sector 9 bowl...
GOOD times last nite.... .First time in a while i didn't shoot anything!!! It felt great and i got some fun runs in.....
Badfoot shot video so that makes up for it... We will show the footage here soon.

OCTOBER!!!!

October is one of my favorite months.....
Evenings are gettin shorter, Texas usually has waves and still warm water with a slight bite to the air....
great sunsets and chilly offshore mornings start.....
lets let the rain fall and get this October rollin in some surf!!!

Great session last nite and lets try and repeat it all again today...

Fred and some glassy ones...

So i have been surfing with a guy and we are kinda friends now...FRED..... We enjoy left barrels off a rock and glassy conditions....
I am so blessed and grateful that I paddled back out a second time today...
The water was warm and glassy, i mean really glassy....
A few choice nugs were popping up here and again..... I got a few and popped a couple lofty little airs.... after one said air and having my board retrieved by a young kid enjoyin the shore pound and exchanging a huge high five and a thanks the grom exclaimed in acceptance " THAT WAS AWESOME!!!"

This totally made my day........
I proceeded to get a few barrels and airs losing the board and occasionally interacting with the young man throughout the session as he retreived my board or as i would run past after a glassy curl barrel.

WOW..... this is what i have always wanted and worked for..... a nice pad, honest work and some surfin out front of my house....
