What: 'COWBOY FROM HELL' Jon Steele's Surfer's Journal Texas Article Release Party!

The week of Nov. 13th till the 20th, photographer Steele and his rowdy band of surfers and rockers toured the Texas coast promoting his new Texas Article 'Cowboy From Hell' from the world renowned Surfer's Journal Magazine release party to Texas! 'Jazz the Glass' a pirated pirate surf movie was premiered to the amazement of onlookers and welcomed with hearty laughs and good times as well. Traveling pro surfer's Christian Wach, Kameron Brown and Morgan Faulkner were on hand signing autographs as well as displaying the very talented artist/surfer Christian Wach's Canvas Surfboard line. Touring with special musical guest Will Crum, is an awesome punk band from California that traveled to Texas to ROCK out the coast of Texas from Galveston to South Padre. After leaving Galveston, the first stop of the tour, it would be tough to get much crazier.... but it did!!
With tons of giveaways from Sector 9 and Nation Surfboards and more, there was a great turnout of surfers, friends, and party goers at G-town, CC, and SPI, but the last night in South Padre blew all the other shows out of the water!! Yes all the locals were there, yes Will Crum rocked out with tons of energy, yes the cops came, yes bets were made to eat handfuls of fresh Jalapeno peppers, and yes there was an after party!!! Mr. Steele took time out from the busy tour schedule to give a lecture at his alumni city college Del Mar to new students about art and photography only to jump right back into the full swing of chasing waves! All of this worshiping the Surf Gods' finally paid off and the crew was blessed with perfect overhead flawless barrells for 6 hours on the final day of the tour!
