Buen Dia

Good day friends and family.. ...I was able to make a save this morning in Guatemala when a young girl was caught in one of the most gnarly rip currents i have ever seen inbetween 2 jetties without her surfboard.. .. It felt really good. Like all saves do.. It's a good feeling to be able to hug the person you brought ashore vs. the other way around... I miss lifeguarding so much just for that reason... I have NEVER paddled so hard and fast in my life and it paid off.. I now know why i needed to come here this trip... Glad i did..... I think she is too.. ;) i was awarded with a day off in the pool with some angels of Guatemala... enjoy your day!

Antiqua, Guatemala

Got picked up by the gorgeous Luz Castillo here in Guatemala and was whisked away to Antiqua ASAP!!! There i found an amazing town with friendly people.. great colors and a fun place to shoot.. A roof top bar and a few photos from Luz. (she has a surf magazine here SURF ART! ) google that and help support her scene.. proud of her.. Off to have coffee, shoot portraits and live in Antiqua for a day.. Hoping for surf the next few days.. fingers crossed.

My Dad Is AWESOME

My dad is awesome!! He pretty much is the best dad ever.. He fixes people all day long in the hospital then rides to raise money for Diabetes research. Way to go Dad!!!
